Let’s Restore Your Natural Hormone Balance
Using Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy
We Specialize in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy
Our doctors specialize in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) with bioidentical hormones.
Your hormones are a vital part of a healthy, well-functioning body. At Renewed Vitality, our first priority is assisting our patients toward a life filled with energy and vitality.
Most medical doctors consider the process of growing older, with its many aches and pains, to be an acceptable, normal process of life. But we do not.
The Renewed Vitality team rejects the idea that pain, weight gain, and low energy are “normal”. We know differently.
Through an individualized Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) program, Renewed Vitality physicians work to restore hormone levels to their once youthful balance.

What is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)?
Many of the typical effects people associate with aging can be traced to the dysfunction of hormones. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy uses treatments that address the negative effects of aging. Under the supervision of our specialists, patients begin to look and feel more youthful!
Hormones are simply chemicals produced by glands throughout your endocrine system. These chemicals travel through the bloodstream to your organs and tissues, regulating functions such as:
- metabolism and appetite
- weight
- heart rate
- sleep cycles
- reproductive cycles and sexual function
- general growth and development
- mood and stress levels
- body temperature
Hormone levels can decline for many reasons. Stress, lack of exercise, poor eating habits, environment, obesity, and smoking are some of the most common.
However, aging is usually the primary culprit. Aging can cause the body to produce an insufficient amount of the essential sex hormones progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone. These hormones, along with other vital hormones such as DHEA, pregnenolone, cortisol, melatonin, and thyroid, are all interdependent. And a deficiency in one hormone affects the rest.
When most men and women are in their 40s or 50s, many of their glands — such as ovaries, testicles, thyroid glands, and adrenals —gradually produce fewer and fewer hormones.
Hormone decline in women who are going through perimenopause or menopause can result in symptoms of low libido, wrinkling skin, infertility, vaginal dryness, weight gain, insomnia, night sweats, and hot flashes.
Men see the same decline in hormones during andropause. The side effects may include insomnia, low libido, erectile dysfunction, loss of physical stamina, poor exercise performance, muscle atrophy, and hair loss.
Why Are Bioidentical Hormones Important?
- Hormones should be identical to what the body makes.
- Some synthetic hormones are not well metabolized/utilized by the body.
- It doesn’t matter if hormones are “natural” or synthetic, but they have to be bioidentical.
- BHRT is not a drug treatment. It replaces and restores hormones naturally made in your body that have diminished over time.
Often in previous hormonal testing, some of the clinic’s patients were told their test results showed that they were within normal hormone ranges, and so received no treatment.
Some were prescribed medications that failed to remedy their symptoms — while others were told that these symptoms were “normal” for their age.
With no apparent solution, one can feel hopeless about getting relief. However, solutions exist, and the physicians at Renewed Vitality administer treatments that can give lasting relief by carefully listening to symptoms, close analysis of medical history, a thorough physical exam, and appropriate lab work.

Testimonials:
“My husband and I want to thank Dr. Spurlock and his wonderful associates for helping us find the road back to health. We both enjoyed good health in our younger years, but eventually began to encounter some medical challenges of our own. At first we tried the standard options through our insurance network providers, but were only offered ‘cookie cutter’ type treatment plans and life-long drugs for symptom management.
“The breaking point for me came when I was offered antidepressants when I told my doctor I didn’t want to treat just the symptoms, but find and treat the root cause of my issues. My husband, a pharmacist for over 35 years, experienced much of the same, and even he didn’t know where to turn.
“Thankfully, after a lot of research, we finally heard of Dr. Spurlock’s unique approach of diagnosing and treating patients. We were both impressed with the thoroughness of his evaluation of the root causes of our medical issues and the straightforward plan to help us return to optimal health.
“We are glad to feel so much better, and what is even more of a blessing, our children, family and friends indirectly benefit as well. My younger son commented that he felt like he got his mom and dad back!” – Mark and Kathleen *
“I had received standard treatments for low thyroid for 20 years, yet my energy and enthusiasm for life continued to dwindle away. I wanted to rest or sleep much of the time. My lack of energy was taking its toll on my work, marriage, and my family.
“Dr. Spurlock quickly determined the root cause of my fatigue and the best remedy. His cheerful personality and medical insight inspired hope. I lost 30 pounds, have much more energy, and now work out at the gym, swim, bike, and hike. I take joy in my renewed relationship with my wife, family, friends, and my revitalized energy for work.
“Marcus Spurlock is a gifted medical doctor who helps his patients regain their joy and passion for energetic living. He takes time to listen, observe, and do the research to get to the root cause of his patients’ health issues..” – William*
