Here’s the story of EpiCor. In 1943, a company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa called Diamond V Mills Inc, developed a specialized fermentation process to create a yeast culture that was used as an additive for animal feed to improve the health and productivity of livestock. It has been successfully used for over 60 years.

To find out more, Diamond V commissioned pilot studies comparing the factory workers to a similar group of office workers. And, sure enough, the factory workers who were exposed to the yeast culture were found to have stronger immune systems.

The immune system research results were extraordinary – the factory workers had increased activity of white blood cells called Natural Killer cells and overall stronger immune system markers. All of this led to to the formation of the company called Embria Health Science, which now produces Epicor as a supplement for humans to support immune system health.
